Java Engineer

The company is seeking a Java Engineer to join its team and support a client, designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining secure, scalable enterprise applications. The role involves building modern web components, RESTful APIs and microservices, and deploying cloud-based applications on AWS with automated CI/CD pipelines. The engineer troubleshoots complex application, integration and deployment issues, collaborating with developers, architects, DevOps engineers, business analysts and testers across the software development lifecycle. The position also supports continuous improvement and modernization initiatives, including ML/AI workflow integration and adherence to federal development and security standards. The role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person participation for planning, training or program events.
