Sr. Software Engineer

The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain the platforms behind its civic engagement programs. The role involves shipping features end to end, shaping technical decisions, setting a high bar for code quality, and mentoring other engineers. Working closely with the CTO, product manager, and program teams, the engineer will turn real-world civic engagement needs into reliable, thoughtfully designed software. This position anchors the Democracy Leagues development team, contributing to a new civic assembly platform while also supporting the more mature Civic Gym product.
