Lead Software Engineer

The role sits within the Channel and Data AI development team, combining technical leadership with hands-on development. The individual will architect and design web and mobile applications, lead the design, development and deployment of cloud-native applications using Spring Boot and Java 17, and build and maintain RESTful APIs, Spring Batch jobs and event-driven systems with Kafka and MQ. They will drive micro frontend and microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, test-driven development and the application of GenAI technologies to enhance development, code review and testing. The role also involves mentoring junior developers, managing app lifecycle and third-party SDK integrations, providing BAU support, and collaborating across domain teams to manage technical and security dependencies.
