Software Architect

The company is seeking a Software Architect to lead the architecture, technical evolution, and operational design of a globally distributed mission-critical platform. The role involves owning the end-to-end software architecture for a distributed microservices platform, defining and governing architecture across service boundaries, data flows, event patterns, deployment topologies, observability, fault tolerance, and recovery. The architect will lead the evolution of a modern Linux-based Java microservices ecosystem and integration architecture for government, commercial, and customer-specific systems, while architecting deployment patterns for constrained edge and centralized/cloud-heavy environments. This position is part of the Federal Solutions team, supporting US government customers in defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental missions.
