This role owns one engineering team end-to-end: its architecture design, delivery, and roadmap. The manager stays hands-on, writing specs, reviewing pull requests, running AI-assisted tooling daily, and shipping real work while holding the engineering bar for the Cloud Services product space — data protection, security, and edge services such as SSL, email, EADN, and CDN/WAF. The position partners closely with Product to shape and commit to the roadmap, scopes and cuts work on a monthly cycle, clears cross-team dependencies, and takes a turn in the on-call rotation. It also grows engineers through one-to-ones, growth plans, and direct feedback, and owns hiring end to end.
