Principal Software Engineer - LMS

The Principal Software Engineer joins the Experience team to drive the visual modernization of an established application with a Vue front end backed by PHP. This is a hands-on senior development role focused on refreshing and elevating the user interface of a live product, delivering modern, responsive and accessible interfaces within the existing technology stack rather than a ground-up rewrite. The role pairs strong front-end engineering fundamentals with real depth in the application's stack, and the day-to-day is hands-on coding: designing solutions and implementing them directly. The engineer will partner closely with product management and UX to translate experience goals into performant, consistent and maintainable interfaces, and is expected to use AI-assisted development as a core part of the workflow.
