Software Engineer

The Software Engineer role is based at the company's Doncaster site and focuses on building high-quality, customer-facing software within an Agile (SAFe/SCRUM) environment. The engineer develops and maintains features for a market-leading Terminal Operating System that supports mission-critical port and terminal operations, from vessel planning and yard management to gate processing and cargo movements. Working alongside a Solution Architect, data specialists and QA colleagues, the role covers building, testing and deploying software that integrates with cranes, weighbridges, scanners and access control systems. The position also involves maintaining code quality and development tooling, liaising with stakeholders during sprint reviews and on-site visits, and acting as a technical resource for the wider team.
