Software Development Engineer III (CRM - Opportunities - AI)

The company is seeking a backend engineer to own the CRM Opportunities product end-to-end — the deal and pipeline engine that serves as the system of record for every revenue motion customers run, from lead conversion to closed-won. The role centres on deep backend ownership: designing data models, APIs and distributed workflows that power pipelines, stages, automations, reporting and integrations at scale, while tackling concerns such as idempotency, eventual consistency, race conditions and noisy-neighbor isolation. The engineer will also build AI-assisted surfaces on top of existing AI capabilities — assembling context from CRM data, managing prompt and response contracts, caching, cost and latency budgets, graceful degradation and feedback loops for output quality — without any model training or ML infrastructure work. Working with high autonomy, the person turns ambiguous problems into production systems and ships occasional UI changes in Vue without waiting on cross-functional handoffs.
