Responsibilities
The Web Developer will work closely with internal customers to create and maintain functional dynamic web applications that satisfy the specs outlined, working closely with the user to tailor each page utilizing the outlined languages and software. The incumbent will be involved in the full life cycle of the application from design, coding, maintenance, troubleshooting as well as additional future site sections and functions.
This position will become eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with a combination of onsite and remote work, after a waiting period of approximately 3-6 months subject to satisfactory job performance, management approval and operational needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and three years of experience in website design, development, and maintenance; OR an Associates degree in a related field and five years of such experience; OR seven years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of such experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in full-stack development utilizing C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. Extensive experience working with .NET Core, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Razor, ADO.NET, jQuery, Vue.js, Angular, and AJAX. Strong understanding of MVC and client-server architectural patterns, with hands-on expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, and ActiveReports.
Conditions of Employment
Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Travel up to 25% of the time will be required.
The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.

At HRI, the nature of hybrid and onsite work varies by position. Some roles require full onsite presence, while others allow a hybrid schedule.
