Staff Software Developer

The Principal Software Developer, IT/OT acts as the senior individual-contributor technical authority for software systems that connect enterprise IT platforms with industrial Operational Technology environments, with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) as the core platform of ownership. The role combines hands-on engineering in Python, Django and SQL with architectural leadership across manufacturing systems, automation platforms, cybersecurity boundaries, cloud infrastructure and applied AI/ML. The person translates business needs into scalable system enhancements, designs interfaces and automation workflows, and ensures high-quality delivery through rigorous testing and documentation. Close collaboration with application, infrastructure and business teams is required to improve shopfloor efficiency and overall system performance.
