Senior Product Engineer - AI Native

The company is building a dedicated squad around its proprietary AI engine, which powers AI capabilities across its legal and governance product suite. The role is a software/product engineering position focused on platform architecture, working at the intersection of AI, product and engineering to build, improve and scale the features that make the AI layer reliable and powerful. The engineer will own features end-to-end, from technical design to deployment, writing specifications and executable acceptance criteria, freezing API and module contracts, and piloting coding agents with bounded, traceable briefs. A central part of the job is verification: building asymmetric gates such as property and contract tests, query and allocation budgets, policy-as-code and backward-compatibility proofs, and acting as an independent verifier on peers' work. The role also demands strong attention to security and performance in multi-tenant systems, including authorization modelling and awareness of the attack surface specific to agent-assisted pipelines.
