As a software engineer, you will help develop, maintain, and improve the institute's web platform. You'll work closely with the content and research team, handling everything from small feature builds to content system updates, deployment, and basic analytics reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly features on our Vue.js-based website
• Work with our CMS (Sanity) to support content publishing and editorial workflows
• Deploy and monitor updates via our cloud hosting setup (AWS Amplify) and manage a lightweight cloud server (GCP)
• Help manage website data using tools like Appwrite
• Track and report on website traffic and user behavior using GA4 and Matomo
• Support basic SEO practices to improve content visibility
• Troubleshoot bugs and day-to-day website issues
• Collaborate with designers and content writers to implement new pages, banners, and UI components from Figma designs
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript; exposure to Vue.js is a plus (training provided)
• Comfortable learning new tools and platforms on the job
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) is a plus, not required
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
