Why this role matters:
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer for our Jumper AI / Conversational Commerce platform to build and evolve rich, reliable frontend experiences for commerce platforms, payment flows, and template-driven messaging systems. This role focuses on designing and implementing high-trust, high-clarity user interfaces for critical revenue-impacting journeys such as checkout, payments, refunds, and campaign messaging. You will also lead the frontend development of template builders and management tools used across channels like WhatsApp, Email, RCS, and SMS.
You will work closely with Design and Product to simplify complex workflows into intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent user experiences, while driving frontend best practices across the team.
Your key responsibilities:
- Design and build frontend experiences for commerce workflows, including checkout, payments, refunds, and transaction history.
- Implement resilient UI flows for payment gateways, handling redirects, callbacks, failures, and retries.
- Build and maintain template editors for messaging channels (WhatsApp, Email, RCS, SMS) with validation, previews, and localization.
- Architect scalable, reusable frontend components with clear state management and API integration patterns.
- Optimize frontend performance for data-heavy views and asynchronous updates.
- Establish standards for error handling, loading states, and user feedback across critical workflows.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams while mentoring frontend engineers.
What you'll bring
- 8+ years of frontend engineering experience in production environments.
- Strong expertise in modern JavaScript and Vue.js (or similar frameworks).
- Proven experience building commerce or transaction-heavy user interfaces.
- Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization and state management.
- Experience handling asynchronous flows, external redirects, and partial failures in the UI.
- Solid fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and browser APIs.
- Strong collaboration skills and ownership mindset for end-to-end feature delivery.
Experience we consider a plus:
- Experience with messaging or template-driven systems (WhatsApp, Email, RCS, SMS).
- Exposure to conversational commerce or CPaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with Micro Frontend architectures.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
