Your Role at Yuki

Yuki, a leading innovator in accounting and financial administration, is seeking a passionate and visionary Software Architect to help to drive the evolution of our SaaS platform. In this key role, you will be responsible for setting the bar on technical design and providing direction for the evolution of our platform architecture, which supports our exponential growth and the needs of our 75,000+ entrepreneurs and 1,100+ accounting firms. As a Software Architect, you will be leading in defining the technical direction, collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure that our solutions are at the forefront of technology, aligned with Yuki's vision to transform the world of accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecture Design and Evolution:

Help define, evolve and enforce Yuki's software architecture, ensuring its scalability, security, and efficiency.
Help evaluate and select optimal technologies and design patterns for our needs.
Be part of the group defining the technical architecture roadmap for the next years.
Collaborate with team leads and senior staff members to ensure the correct implementation of the architecture.

2. Technical Leadership and Mentorship

Provide influential technical leadership and guidance to development teams, fostering best software development practices.
Act as a mentor to developers, helping them improve their technical skills.
Collaborate with the Team Leads to ensure the correct evolution of the members of the team.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

4. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

Research and evaluate new technologies and industry trends to keep Yuki at the forefront.
Identify and propose improvements to existing architecture and development processes.
Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

5. Quality and Performance:

Ensure that software solutions meet quality, security, and performance standards.
Implement strategies to monitor and improve platform performance.
Participate in code reviews and design reviews.

6. AI adoption:

As a senior member of our technical staff, you continuously research how AI can help us grow maturity and effectiveness of our engineering efforts.
Actively evangelize the use of AI in our product and as part of our software engineering practices.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:arch

Proven experience as a Software Architect in agile development environments.
Deep knowledge of .NET/C# and SQLServer technologies deployed in public cloud, and a keen interest in modern web frameworks (we use Vue).
Experience in evolving and maintaining microservices or modular application architectures. Familiar with Event Sourcing, event-driven architectures, large-scale business applications..
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Experience working with development teams as an influential leader.
Full fluency in English is a must.

Desired Skills:

Experience with container and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Sound knowledge of CI/CD practices.
Experience in a multi-team organisation.
