Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Developer to contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications supporting critical business operations. This role involves designing and implementing scalable server-side and client-side solutions using Java frameworks and front-end technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performance-optimized systems. The candidate will support ongoing projects, code reviews, and system improvements aligned with organizational goals and technological best practices.

Software Requirements

Required Software Proficiency:

  • Java (latest long-term support version, e.g., Java 11 or 17) — extensive hands-on experience in enterprise Java development supporting scalable applications
  • Java frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, or JSF — strong expertise in building modular, maintainable backend systems
  • Front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 — solid skills for developing responsive, user-friendly interfaces
  • Version control: Git and Bitbucket — proficiency managing code repositories and collaborative workflows
  • Build tools: Maven or Gradle — experience supporting continuous builds and dependency management
  • Database systems: SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL — strong ability to develop, optimize, and manage relational data

Preferred Software Skills:

  • Front-end frameworks: Angular, React, or Vue.js — familiarity for UI component development (desired)
  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab — automation pipelines supporting deployment and testing
  • Containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes — for deploying applications in scalable, containerized environments
  • Testing frameworks: JUnit, TestNG, Selenium — automated testing for unit, integration, and UI validation

Overall Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain scalable, reliable Java-based server-side and front-end applications supporting enterprise workflows
  • Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX teams, and backend developers to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Troubleshoot system issues, optimize performance, and resolve bugs efficiently
  • Support environment configuration, application integration, and system upgrades supporting business continuity
  • Document system design, architecture, and operational procedures for future support and compliance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and adoption of cloud or container technologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
  • 4+ years of full-stack development experience supporting scalable, enterprise applications
  • Certifications in Java, Spring, or cloud-related platforms (preferred)
  • Proven success delivering complex, high-availability solutions supporting business needs
