ABOUT STRATUS:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Frontend Vue.JS Engineer will spearhead the modernization of our current MVC SaaS application. We've made great strides in prototyping a VueJS solution and need a technical lead to continue that progress. You will work in all areas of the SDLC lifecycle from planning, implementation, testing, and deployment. A thought leader who commands excellence but also can communicate with peers and the wider company. This initiative is critical to our success as we extend our feature set and scale the company, ensuring we remain at the forefront of our industry. You will work closely with a talented team of developers, UX designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions; utilizing a DORA metrics based approach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the development and modernization of our MVC SaaS application using Vue.JS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Implement and maintain modern automated testing practices for front-end frameworks to ensure robust and reliable code.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency in Vue.JS, Typescript, HTML, CSS and JQuery.
Experience with modern development tools and frameworks.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to rapidly grasp customer needs and solve complex workflow problems.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
An advocate for incremental delivery, consistently aligning with the practices of modern high-performing engineering teams

NICE TO HAVE:

Familiarity with legacy web frameworks such as ASP.NET MVC.
Proven experience in migrating front-end codebases while ensuring both old and new systems coexist seamlessly.
Backend development experience with the Microsoft stack (C#, .NET, SQL. NoSQL) or similar technologies.
Knowledge of server-side rendering techniques, such as those used in Next.js.
Expertise in front-end performance optimization.
A solid understanding of security best practices.
