Engineer Manager, Commerce Solutions

This role owns one engineering team end-to-end within the Commerce Solutions product space, covering the WordPress, WooCommerce, Magento and other application stacks customers run their businesses on, along with the automation, tooling and images that keep those applications current and safe to upgrade. It is a hands-on engineering management position: the person writes specs, reviews pull requests, runs AI-assisted tooling daily and ships real work while remaining accountable for architecture, delivery and roadmap. The role exists to make delivery predictable and reliable, to drive AI adoption and measurable engineering speed, and to keep the team accountable for the long-term health of the products it owns. It also involves partnering closely with Product, clearing cross-team dependencies, growing engineers, owning hiring and taking a turn in the on-call rotation.
