Our client is a fast-growing international technology company building modern fintech and SaaS platforms for the healthcare sector in the US market.

Backed by experienced founders, global investors, and a highly entrepreneurial leadership team, the company is focused on transforming operational and financial workflows through scalable software products and intelligent automation.

They are currently expanding their engineering team in Taiwan and are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer Lead to help drive the development of core platform and financial infrastructure capabilities.

This position is ideal for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys building scalable systems, working on fintech-related products, and contributing within a fast-moving startup environment.

You will play a key role in designing and developing backend services, integrating financial and payment-related APIs, and helping shape technical architecture decisions as the platform continues to scale.

The role requires close collaboration with international stakeholders, including teams based in the United States, so strong English communication skills and flexibility to overlap with US working hours are important.

What you will do:

  • Working with the front-end engineering team on the vision for user-facing products
  • Building user-friendly interfaces using Vue.js on the Quasar.js framework, with willingness to transition and ramp up if currently experienced in React
  • Aligning with front-end architectural standards and ensuring scalability, security, and performance
  • Collaborate across engineering, design, and product teams to create seamless customer experience

What you will need:

  • Good command of English
  • 3+ years of experience and deep understanding of JavaScript
  • 3+ years of experience and deep understanding of Node.js
  • 2+ years of experience and deep understanding of Vue.js framework
  • 3+ years of experience and deep understanding of APIs
  • 1+ year of experience building fintech web applications
  • 2+ years of experience and deep understanding front end architecture
  • 2+ years of UX Experience
  • 2+ years of UI Experience
