Engineering Manager

The company is seeking an engineering manager to lead a remote team of engineers building technology that improves healthcare access in Africa. The role oversees the patient programs projects team, with the possibility of starting a new team for future projects, and combines people management with hands-on technical leadership. The manager provides architecture and design guidance, code reviews, and incident management support while contributing directly to projects about 20% of the time. The position also involves product and project management, translating stakeholder needs into concrete requirements and working across internal and external teams. The role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is remote worldwide with occasional travel to the countries of operation.
