Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate enterprise software development initiatives supporting mission-critical NIH applications. This role requires a strong technical background in Agile .NET application delivery, enterprise architecture coordination, cloud modernization, and full software development lifecycle (SDLC) management.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex web and mobile application projects within Microsoft technology environments and will serve as a key liaison between government stakeholders, technical leadership, developers, QA teams, security teams, and operations support personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
6+ years of project management experience.
5+ years of experience managing Agile .NET implementations.
Strong understanding of enterprise software development methodologies and technical delivery processes
Hands-on understanding of:
.NET / ASP.NET technologies
C#
SQL Server databases
REST APIs and system integrations
React and/or Vue front-end technologies
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Ability to comprehend complex software architectures, data models, and enterprise system integrations
Experience managing cross-functional technical teams in Agile environments
Strong understanding of SDLC governance, configuration management, and release management processes
Experience managing technical risks, dependencies, and enterprise application delivery schedules
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a hybrid environment in the Rockville, MD / DC Metro area
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a technical or management-related discipline
PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or Agile certifications preferred.
Experience supporting NIH, HHS, or other federal health IT environments.
Familiarity with:
HHS EPLC
FISMA
ATO packages
POA&M management
Section 508 compliance
Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio, React Native, and cloud modernization initiatives.
Experience supporting enterprise web and mobile application portfolios.
Compensation and Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
