Senior Developer for Geospatial Media Planning Company (remote)

Goldfish Ads has been in business for 9 years. They've created a unique planning tool for Media Agencies and Brands to run Digital Out-of-Home campaigns and target programmatic advertisements using unique audience datasets.

We are looking for a developer to help with our front-end.

Tech Stack

Our frontend is a Single Page Application (SPA) built in:

• Vue 3

• Pinia for state management

• Vuetify as a component library

• Mapbox for geographic visualizations

The app includes some moderately complex data analysis and viewing components.

Required Skills

• Experience with React or Vue (Vue preferred)

• Experience with state management systems (e.g., Redux, Vuex, Pinia) and managing async requests

• Experience building a frontend that interacts with a backend API

• Experience making reusable components and organizing frontend code effectively

• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with data visualization and/or geographic visualization

• Experience with performance profiling and optimization

• Entrepreneurial spirit

How We Work

We are looking for a full-time developer.

That said, we generally start working with new developers on a contract/part-time basis. Then, assuming both parties are happy, we transition them into a full-time position.
(On average, this process takes about 3-4 weeks after the initial screening call— sometimes less.)
