Front-End Developer / 508 Compliance Specialist [Up to 3 days/week telework]

As a Front-End Developer / 508 Compliance Specialist at GDIT, you will join a cross-functional Agile team of software developers, system engineers, and product owners supporting a mission-critical government customer. The role focuses on building and validating accessible, compliant, and high-quality user interfaces, with a strong concentration on Section 508 accessibility compliance so that system interfaces are fully usable by individuals with disabilities. You will design, develop, and maintain front-end components that conform to Section 508 and WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards, perform accessibility testing and remediation with screen readers such as JAWS, and conduct manual and automated audits. You will also partner with designers, developers, and product owners to embed accessibility by design and integrate automated accessibility testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
