QA Engineer (Flip Team)

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our team that will develop new applications in the technical landscape of Flip.ro

Flip.ro is a continuously growing start-up where we change the way people buy and sell refurbished electronics. Our growth is driven by our technical and digital landscape and our ability to continuously improve and build our platforms. We are developing tools and applications that allow for the gathering, storing, structuring, and processing of all the data required for a product to be on sale on the Flip platform.

We are working on a microservice architecture sustained by Docker and orchestrated by Kubernetes. Many microservices are written with Java and NodeJS and our frontend consists of VueJS and React constructs, all hosted on Google Cloud Platform.

What you’ll have to do:

● Design test specifications and create test strategy for new and existing features;

● Create and organise test cases into test suites for manual execution;

● Execute test suites across all functional and UI areas of our systems;

● Prepare and execute functional and non-functional test scenarios

● Ensure the quality of all test deliverables (execution reports, defect reports, etc.);

● Collaborate with other team members in order to find best solution for existing potential issues;

● Define test plan - works closely with Automation QA and Developers to define test plan;

● Actively participate in all development processes;

● Reporting issues and verifying fixed problems;

● Provides necessary assistance and technical expertise to the other QA manual team members.

What makes you a good fit:

● Proven work experience in software quality assurance on web applications;

● Knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools and processes;

● Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases;

● Experience with automation testing frameworks;

● SQL knowledge;

● Experience working in an Agile team.
