Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Fullstack Web Developer to join our Web Apps team, in our Zürich office. In this role you will have the opportunity to drive development of new features, have a say in architecture and design decisions and have real impact across all the team’s projects.

The web apps team plays a central role at Auterion and owns the systems that add connectivity and remote interfaces for fleet management and operations. Our services are responsible for ingesting and analyzing flight telemetry data, managing and updating the fleet as well as integrating with other systems across the stack.

The ideal candidate is someone who’s a self-starter, can work independently, can work with ambiguity, can take decisions on their own and not be afraid to drive and push towards getting the project across the finish line.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Take ownership and drive the development of new features across all the team’s web based projects
  • Deliver clean, readable and maintainable code
  • Integrate services between edge devices and our centralized services
  • Handle new feature discovery, prototyping and investigations
  • Assist the Customer Success team in debugging and resolving customer issues
  • Monitor and analyze user usage patterns and other statistics
  • Push initiatives to clean up, upgrade, and refactor existing services to reduce technical debt
  • Maintain and improve integrations with 3rd party services

Qualifications and Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in a Fullstack web development or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency with the Node.js ecosystem, development and tooling
  • Strong proficiency with the Typescript ecosystem, development and tooling
  • Strong proficiency with modern SPAs (Vue.js ecosystem preferred)
  • Solid experience with Postgres/SQL (queries, transactions, views, indexes, triggers) as well as ORM systems (Prisma)
  • Solid experience with Docker and container orchestration
  • Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines (GoCD and GH Actions)
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana)
  • Python proficiency is a plus
