We are looking for experienced full stack software developers with experience in development using Java with Spring Boot, and Javascript, as well as experience working with public clouds, particularly GCP or Azure. If you are also experienced in AI and agent development, here is the right place to work.

Developing and maintaining robust systems to support our applications. We generally adhere to the ‘you build it, you run it’ principle, so it is important to us that you also have experience in operations or with DevOps concepts.

This role offers you the opportunity to work on complex services and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver projects for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Development: Design, build, and maintain customer-centric microservices with a full technology stack (frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines).
• Code Excellence: Write clean, high-quality code and ensure performance and security through pair programming, code reviews, and TDD.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, architects, testers, and project managers on cutting-edge projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest technologies and contribute to personal development through conferences and online learning.
• Innovation Time: Dedicate creative time during each iteration to work on projects that excite you.

Required Qualifications:

• A degree in computer science, business informatics, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in software development/architecture with a passion for new technologies.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, such as Kotlin, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD automation, object-relational databases, and SQL scripting.
• Strong knowledge of web development and ownership of microservices.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• A collaborative team player who thrives in agile environments (SCRUM/KANBAN).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Vue.js 3, Nuxt 3, or Vite for web application development.
• Familiarity with software architecture and self-contained microservices.
• Knowledge of cloud development, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with tools like CloudSQL, Pub/Sub, GKE, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

About Adesso Romania

adesso is providing IT delivery, consultancy and software solutions with international teams. The new subsidiary, adesso Romania, is based in Bucharest. It is to begin supporting Adesso’s international delivery network (www.adesso-smartshore.com) in staffing and logistical terms, effective immediately.

Around 1000 of the more than 12000 employees in the adesso Group already work for customers in Europe at adesso’s SmartShore locations in Turkey, Bulgaria and Spain. Main technology stack is Java, .NET, FE, Mobile App Development, MS Power Platform, and DevOps.

The IT experts work on digitalization projects as part of international project teams. Some of their work is done on-premises at customer locations – especially in the German-speaking countries – but some are also performed through virtual collaboration from adesso’s individual SmartShore offices in Istanbul, Sofia, Barcelona, Madrid, and Jerez.
