Ensure that best practices are followed throughout the software development process, that a suitable level of tests are created per feature and that reliable, proven libraries are utilised where necessary. We are looking for an exceptional front end web developer to help build a number of data driven visualisations, dashboards and administrative systems. This position requires a self-driven engineer with great initiative, a good understanding of JavaScript data visualisation technologies from graphs to geographical mapping and experience with Vue.js

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement dashboards with real time graphs, charts and maps that can work on a variety of screen sizes.
• Build an administrative web application to help customers to manage their system
• Ensure that best practices are followed throughout the software development process, that a suitable level of tests are created per feature and that reliable, proven libraries are utilised where necessary

Your Minimum Skills

• 1 year experience minimum with VueJS is a MUST
• 3-4 years of experience in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• Very comfortable coding in vanilla JavaScript (ES6) and CSS3
• Experience with tools / frameworks such as Mocha / Chai / Puppeteer or similar
• Comprehensive understanding of RESTful services
• Ability to rapidly prototype ideas to UI / UX mockups
• Ability to write clean, well structured UI code.
• Demonstrated ability to work on small, focused teams to complete critical milestones under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Drive to take initiative and own issues.
• Passion for quality and attention to detail of pixel perfect screens.

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of responsive design and device targeting
• Knowledge of d3.js or similar JavaScript visualisation libraries
• Experience with Web Sockets and client side storage solutions
• Experience with Webpack
• Experience with NodeJS / Express
• Portfolio of impressive visualisations hooked into feeds presenting real time data

Education

Bachelors Degree, or equivalent work experience.
