CE Learning Systems is looking for a Javascript-focused Software Developer to join our small but dedicated team. This is for an employee position. We are not looking to hire a freelancer or agency at this time.

You'll be be working on SupervisionAssist.com and other SaaS products. We're currently using AngularJS 1.5, and plan to migrate to VueJS in the near future. Applicants for this position will therefore need familiarity with Angular JS and strong Vue JS (and Typescript) skills. Supervision Assist uses Laravel on the back end, so familiarity with Laravel is a big plus, though not required.

The ideal candidate for this job is self-motivated, creative, solution-focused but flexible when asked to make changes when the product demands it. You should know how to find the sweet spot between Best and Fast. You'll be working remotely, so you'll need a dedicated office space to work in. Working remotely has its challenges, though you'll still be in close communication with the team via text chat and video conference.

This is a remote position open to US-based developers only. You'll need to work regular US business hours. Sorry, but applications from outside the US will be discarded.

Required Skills & Experience:

• VueJS
• Typescript
• AngularJS (1.x) - at least basic familiarity
• Modern HTML & CSS, e.g. Flexbox and Grid
• CSS Preprocessors - LESS or SCSS
• Excellent written and spoken English fluency
• Git
• Bootstrap 3+
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (any major)

Bonus points for experience with:

• Laravel or Symfony
• Mobile app development
• Mockup tools e.g. Zeplin
• Agile development workflow, e.g. Scrum or similar
• Jira (as a developer)
