About the Role:

We are looking for a full-time Frontend Engineer to develop performant pixel-perfect VueJS applications that integrate with a range of internal and third-party APIs.

Responsibilities:

• Write maintainable/scalable/efficient code in a business-sensitive consumer-facing context
• Optimize site performance ensuring we're hitting our core web vitals targets using SSG
• Take ownership of your code quality and test your own work
• Follow team standards & processes and contribute to the improvement of those
• Ideate on product requirements with the team and drive it from design to implementation
• Joint ownership of the app’s front end performance, health matrix, and technical debt.

Required:

• 4+ years of frontend development experience. At least 2 years of experience working with VueJS
• Experience with optimizing the front end performance of applications to improve core web vitals metrics
• Experience implementing and ideally transitioning to a server side rendered/generated application
• Good understanding of backend systems i. e. web services, APIs from a consumer perspective
• Experience with VueJS / HTML / CSS, Git, RDBMS, Linux
• Curiosity to go in depth of codebases and libraries, and have ability to set it up from scratch.
• A distinguished sense of UI and UX and passion for profiling performance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
