To keep pace, we are seeking a Frontend Engineer to help power our frontend applications and to help us grow our eCommerce initiatives!

What we're building

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative frontend engineer with Vue.js experience to join our team.

You will be responsible for working with product managers, designers, eCommerce managers to execute in-house projects. Some of these will be ground-up, while others will be advancing the functionality of existing projects.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is goal-oriented and emphasizes accountability for delivering results. This role can be done remotely or in our Mooresville, NC office.

What you’ll do

• Contribute to our newest initiative on a high level and help maintain/enhance existing properties
• Participate in requirement gathering, technical specification, and help steer the design and development of complex projects
• Build and deliver consistently high-quality products with an attention to detail
• Ensure solutions are feasible and implemented within technical and business constraints
• Monitor and review existing technology and tools and offer guidance on how we can get better
• Communicate and live the company’s purpose, core values, and vision

What you’ll bring

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience building and maintaining complex web apps and eCommerce sites with a strong understanding of SEO best practices
• High-level knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS (SASS & Tailwind)
• Experience with Vue.js (we’re Nuxt.js fans here)
• A demonstrated history of implementing a wide variety of APIs and past experience with helping guide the growth of internally built APIs
• A solid understanding of AWS including S3, Cloudfront, and Route53
• Experience with CI/CD and rapidly deploying site changes across multiple regions with automated testing (we use circleCI, Jest & Cypress)
• Ability to work with designers and efficiently translate their vision while offering creative solutions to help raise the bar
