Loft Orbital is on a mission to make it simple to collect information about the Earth, from space. We are building the plug and play interfaces and the software stack that enables us to fly multiple customer sensors on a single satellite as a rideshare (think UberPool for space). We are also developing software that will autonomously operate our satellites and give customers the ability to send commands directly to their sensor. We are a scrappy team of 12 people in San Francisco. 70% of our team is from another country or is a dual citizen. Last year we raised a seed round for leading Silicon Valley investor Uncork Capital, as well as several strategic investors in Japan, Indonesia, and the Middle East.
