Quiz Night Beyond is a family-and-friends video quiz website/application that I developed after enjoying doing pub quizzes on zoom during lockdown with my family and friends. I realized that while zoom is a perfectly fine tool for business teleconferencing, we could do something a lot more fun with a purpose-built product.
It is a Vue.js app with a AWS Lambda and Dynamodb backend. We are currently using AWS Chime SDK for the WebRTC video part of things but we expect to want to swap that out for something cheaper as soon as we start getting any scale at all. (Don't worry we've done the WebRTC bit, but if you know about that, that's a plus.)
