**Your Mission: Shape the Future of Retail Experiences**

At GK – a global leader in retail technology and part of the Fujitsu Group, specializing in checkout, store operations, and customer experience – you’re not here to maintain the status quo — you’re here to disrupt, innovate, and elevate. As a Fullstack Developer (all genders) you’ll be the driving force behind digital transformation for some of the world’s most iconic retailers. From top tier POS systems to mobile-first experiences and smart store logistics — you’ll make it all happen.

**Location:** Hybrid Work (Barcelona)

**What you'll do**

- You will become part of our team, developing software solutions for retail chains around the world.
- You will be involved throughout the entire software lifecycle, from understanding business requirements to implementing, testing, and deploying solutions.
- Beyond coding, you will participate in analysing requirements, troubleshooting issues, and proposing improvements to existing applications.
- Our backend is primarily built with Java and Spring, while the frontend is mainly developed with Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- You will work in teams and collaborate regularly with international colleagues, so English is part of the day-to-day work.

**What you bring**

- Someone with a solid foundation in software development and a genuine interest in building fullstack applications.
- Experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot for backend development, together with knowledge of Vue.js or another frontend framework (React, Angular, etc.) and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Understanding of REST APIs, relational databases (SQL), and source control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of tools such as Maven, JUnit, IntelliJ, OpenAPI/Swagger, YAML, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- A logical and analytical mindset, with the ability to understand complex systems, solve problems, and contribute ideas.
- Good communication skills in English, together with a collaborative attitude, ownership mentality, and willingness to learn and continuously develop technical skills.

**Why Join GK?**

- **Mission-driven:** We simplify interactions in retail – for businesses and customers alike.
- **Empowered by flexibility:** Remote-first, flexible hours – work where and how you thrive.
- **Security with vision:** Permanent contract in a future-focused, stable environment.
- **Culture that connects:** Open, collaborative, and people-first – with great coffee if you drop by 😉.
- **Backed by strength:** With 35+ years of retail tech expertise and as part of Fujitsu, a global IT leader.
- **Tech that scales:** AI-powered solutions built to grow with the world’s leading retailers.
- **Think global:** 570,000+ installations in 65+ countries. Real impact, worldwide.
