Job Responsibilities:

· Work with team members and customers to ensure that requirements are well understood and capture the client's expectations.

· Work with business users or business systems analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

· Willingness to learn and take on new challenges/ self-directed and highly motivated.

· Willing to stay up to date in the ever-evolving world of frontend development.

· Proficient with build and release management, as well as developing features across multiple modules, repository branches, and frameworks.

· Assist in preparing and maintaining application design documents.

· Develop technical designs, complete with proof of concept/prototype and documentation.

· Conduct technical design reviews and code reviews, ensuring work adheres to established standards and practices.

· Design, code, test, debug, and document application code, build scripts, and deployment pipelines.

· Provide technical perspective, guidance, and leadership on assigned projects or discovery efforts.

· Responsible for high quality, timely implementation of user stories, as well as following an agile development lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience in software development coupled with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

· The ability to obtain and maintain a DOE clearance is required, therefore LPR or US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

The tech stack is Vue , C#, SQL. 5 to 10 years of programming experience is preferred. Proficiency in the following areas is preferred:

· Proficiency in modern web technologies/architectural principles associated with the Javascript/CSS/HTML toolset.

· Proficiency with the Vue framework and familiarity with the Vue ecosystem. Experience with the most recently added Vue features, particularly the composition api, is also extremely desirable.

· Knowledge of or proficiency in Angular JS preferred but not required.

· The ability to read and generally comprehend legacy code, written in a potentially unfamiliar framework, to the extent that you could migrate/translate it to a modern framework.

· The desire to balance the importance of DRY (do not repeat yourself) and AHA (avoid hasty abstraction) programming principles to write code that can be efficiently maintained by you in the present, or others in the future.

· Experience applying all the above principles in developing a data-driven application by consuming custom REST APIs.
