Job description

Frontend Engineer (Mid- and Senior-Level)

Our award-winning, medical online education platform is looking for you! Are you a Frontend Engineer who loves working in a modern environment? Let’s talk!

Frontend Engineer at Medmastery

Since our company is growing and we are in the process of relaunching our application, we are building an in-house development team and are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer with a profound understanding of Vue.js and web technologies. Someone who is passionate about building a great product.

Are you a creative thinker and tinkerer who’s passionate about building a cutting-edge learning platform that helps doctors and nurses learn the most important clinical skills so they can solve over 90% of patient problems? Then we’re possibly a perfect match!

What’s in store for you?

We are an e-learning platform that helps clinicians around the world learn the most important clinical skills so they can solve over 90% of patient problems without the help of a more senior colleague. We work remotely (even before COVID-19) with the possibility of coming to an office in Salzburg and Graz.

Our amazing team is built on mutual trust and common values, which enables us to do great work together. A full 21% of our paying members say that we’ve already helped them save lives!

Diversity

At Medmastery we’re committed to creating a diverse work-environment and we’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment, regardless of race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, nationality, disability or age.

What you’ll do at Medmastery

  • Helping to refine, conceptualize, and develop the best learning application for doctors.
  • Working together with the Team, finding the right solution to a problem.
  • Building, running and maintaining the application.
  • Improving development processes together with the team.
  • Working independently in a remote team.

Your skill set

  • Highly experienced with JavaScript and Vue.js.
  • You know how to debug and solve problems.
  • Eager to constantly learn and improve.
  • Familiar with common testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills (English: fluency required, German: is a bonus).
  • Worked with AWS (optional).

What are you waiting for?

We are offering 38.5 hours / week of employment (Austria, Germany), and would also be open to a freelance solution.

For this position, we offer a starting gross-salary of € 45.000 for Mid-Level and € 55.000 for Senior-Level or as a starting rate for Mid-Level freelancers of € 26 hourly and € 32 for Senior-Level. We are more than happy to discuss the salary based on your experience.
