Essential Functions
· Works primarily with Systems Analysts and users to provide designs and detailed specifications with limited supervision
· Provides documentation for all developmental efforts
· Works with users to test software as part of implementation support
· Creates programs to meet business requirements
· Tests, builds and deploys development objects
· Enhances existing systems by fine tuning, finding and fixing bugs
· Follows current design and development standards and provides input on improvements
· Applies user requirements to existing systems applications in order to solve moderately complex problems
· Facilitates change via Technical Design and Code Reviews
· Provides improvement ideas for current design and development processes
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
· Demonstrates sound, logical thought process and problem solving when applying user requirements to systems applications
· A strong desire to learn new and current technologies and go outside your technical comfort zone, self-starter
· Good team player, with a passion for collaboration, and an ability to articulate high-level concepts
· Must have excellent people, verbal, and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks successfully
· Proficiency with Full Stack Web Development with experience in Vue, React, Node/Express, MongoDB, Git
· Working knowledge of Web Technology stacks
· Intermediate knowledge of web services, WCF, REST, JSON, API design
· Intermediate knowledge of relational and unstructured databases
· Demonstrable understanding of Object Oriented programming
· Intermediate knowledge of unit testing and the SDLC
· Exposure to multiple revision control systems (GIT, SVN, MVS)
· Demonstrable understanding of development using the cloud
· Knowledge of C#, Java and Oracle databases a plus
· Advanced SQL knowledge
· Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
· Working knowledge of various data transport protocols including SFTP, XML, and JDXDML
· Working knowledge of Docker Containers, DevOps, Kubernetes a plus
· Familiarity with BOOMI Integration Platform a plus
Education or Formal Training
· Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts required
Experience Required
· 3-7 years’ experience with writing, testing, and debugging programs
· 2 or more years of experience working with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript/ES6 with some knowledge of JS frameworks such as React/Redux, AngularJS, Node.js, Ember.js, jQuery preferred
